I flashed back to like 2013 or so, back when they started on Diagon Alley when I walked from IoA to USF the other day:

They should sell mini construction walls in the gift shops as a memento.

I'm not sure about this current project, but I think this may have to do with redoing the pavement and not so much Rockit.

It could be both? The timing and location is very coincidental but they could also have nothing to do with each other.

I just know they've been painting the fence in the area for the last couple of months. But just as you said, I'm not saying it's not Rockit; I don't know if it is.

It is interesting that it’s exactly where the boundaries for water drainage from the permitted work site are. So assumed they’d be adding whatever dam or barrier they need to add to mitigate debris contamination into the water ahead of major work.

Just like I'd been asking for Universal to finally build another Jurassic ride, and they responded with a coaster I'll never ride, I can't handle if they take another of my favorite IPs and do the same thing to me!

It really, really should be Ghostbusters. There’s a ton you can do with the queue, queue videos, maybe even a pre show. Fast & Furious just isn’t need in Orlando in my opinion. It would never shift the market as much, it’ll be a big, great, rollercoaster. Gives us a slightly more fun IP than car chases!

I don't see how you do that with an outdoor, mega-thrill coaster. I was only being partially flippant when I called that thought a waste earlier; to really do justice to Ghostbusters, I think you need a very controlled -- dark -- environment.

They can recreate the facade, and the ride can still be F&F. This isn't a mutually exclusive option.

The only reason I want to see a F&F coaster replacement for Rocket, is because it would hasten the closing, and hopefully quick replacement, of the terrible, horrible, waste of a big space F&F attraction in SF.
