Hey, I just scrolled through a whole bunch of should've, could've, would've, TL: DR. Doesn't matter now, but can we go straight to talking about the "show scene" at the end?

At least the mannequins on ET move.

Seriously I enjoyed the ride until the end. It’s literally better without her.

I joked they removed Big Red after Cast Member previews at DAK and they’ll remove Maleva after TM previews at Epic now. Both static figures at the end of their rides that ruin the tone (in very different ways lol).

Yea that whole finale scene looks pretty rough, I honestly didn’t think it was finished the first time I rode considering you can see the chain link fence sticking out the back. In the words of multiple random TMs on multiple different rides “It’s giving Six Flags”

All parks need their Six Flags type ride reminder....so you can appreciate all the other attractions more.

It looked like some folks were able to purchase it from the Monsters Unchained exit gift shop today, for $47. (It does not appear to include a digital download the way the HHN ones usually do.)

Hopefully they'll release a soundtrack for the entire park in the future.

I'm quite confused - did they DESIGN the figure to be static, or is it just static due to previews? I'm kinda surprised they didn't like, do a projection from the back of a tent curtain or something if they were gonna make this the finale of the attraction.

I need everyone to stop complaining about the finale so they don't remove it, because I need to experience this hilarity in person first. Did they just run out of money

If they wanted to just put a mannequin there, they should've just used Saskia Van Helsing's decapitated body instead & just added audio of a werewolf snarl/howl...

Maybe also add audio of Maleva mentioning we now bare the mark/curse of the werewolf..

Or get really crazy & have an animatronic Maleva that has a transformation effect of her becoming She-wolf for a final scare

As someone that watches a “show” once and never again , I say the coaster is a much better use of the space. Now if the ride sucks , then well I won’t wait in line for it either way.

I have no idea what the actual scene is but I've always believed in a design principle of "If you can't do it right, do it wrong on purpose." In this case, if "doing it right" is animatronic characters -- and the budget isn't there to do it right, then instead of doing that badly (such as a static figure, which is certain to disappoint due to its obvious comparison to what it should be), do a story-telling tapestry or mosaic or fresco or paint the static figures like a statue or carving from the old world representing an allegorical/folklore tale...

In other words, pick an approach in which the execution can look intentional and be done top notch. Audiences can be more forgiving if you execute something less ambitious exceedingly well rather than fail (and lay your budget-limit cards out on the table) while attempting something more ambitious.
