Hiccup's Wing Gliders is indeed a fun ride. There's a couple of surprising airtime sections. The coaster is pretty gentle in its launches (especially compared to Stardust), and I wasn't far off in my earlier assessment about giving a similar feel to Cheetah Hunt.

Yeah I would describe it as a less intense Hagrids. I enjoy the back row the best.

Cheetah Hunt is my favorite coaster. HTTYD may be my first stop here now.

The scene where Toothless pushes the button is adorable. It's cute ride that I wish was slightly longer. You get great views of the land throughout the ride.

Hey, for those who have rode Wing Gliders, what's the music that plays? I heard it's either Test Drive or a song from the second movie (I assume "Where No One Goes"?).

I'm also curious about Grump, Gobber's dragon, is he a full body AA? Also the Stormfly M&G, but I want some surprises.

Apologies if questions aren't allowed here in these threads, I saw some being asked in Unchained and hope it's okay if I ask some here. I'm very, VERY excited for this land and just want some itches scratched.

Yep, Wing Glider is still fun after several rides! I wish it was a tad longer. There's also something neat I didn't catch the first couple of times:

On-ride audio features at least 2 or 3 alternate scripts for Hiccup's dialogue throughout the ride. Nice little touch to this coaster.

Hi thanks for the review. My adult special needs kid is really looking forward to this land and ride. I do have a question I noticed on a video there is water that splashes up from some point in the ride, do you know if riders get wet? They don't like getting their clothes wet on rides. Thank you so much we are so looking forward to this land.

The water shoots outward and is not inteded to get the riders wet. Maaaaybe a light mist from the fog effects but thats a stretch even. I would say you are all set.

You get wet. Maybe not Jurrasic Park river adventure level wet. Not completely soaked but noticeably wet. There are targets that if you hit them splash the other side of the boat. There is a great overlook to watch the ride from so they can know what to expect and decide if they want to go on it.

For clarification, I think the question was referring to Winger Gliders not Fyre Drill. You don't get wet on the coaster but you can get wet on the water ride.

Thank you I didn't even think about that ride but good to know and unfortunately we will have to skip the boat ride.

You can get wet on Wing Gliders if your in the back half of the train. That spray effect when it gets close to the water right before the tunnel does tend to mist the back half of the train. I got a little sprinkled on the two rides I was toward the back. Never in the front couple rows so far.

Thank you so much for that, We will request the front part of the train.

I also believe having them sit on the left side will reduce their chances of getting wet! The water spray seems to come primarily from the right side of the train.

Wing Gliders was fun— we rode back row. I think it’s a solid family coaster.

Untrainable Dragon was a well done show— hit all the right notes and made great use of the puppets/robots/screens to tell the story.

The entire land is just one big smile.

Best land (the only one I spent a substantial amount of time in) in the park. If you're like me and love HTTYD and grew up with the series, this is basically a work of art. Wing Gliders is the best coaster I've ever been on and the music, obviously plays a huge role in that.

The merch is killer, and when I'm back in January I'll probably take out a loan to get everything. Amazing work Uni Creative.

Also the land has a Grump AA, how can you get better than that?!

Visited 03/20, did 3x Wing Gliders, and one time on Racers and Fyre Drill. Wasn't able to do Untrainable Dragon.
