So @HydraGen2299 pointed this out on Discord, I asked a friend if this was the case; and through seeing what was found on Google Earth--it has me asking a fun question.

Back in the day, Mummy Venue originally had a large set of canopies that covered that of the queue and it was used until they pivoted to the dark tent. I wonder if perhaps, they are going to move back to having the "Canopy" method, so they can have taller sets within that venue.

It would be interesting to see them figure out how that could be a variable, makes me wonder if they'd want to do a risk like that (it's been a long while since we've had a venue like that out in the open, last time felt like the T2 venue), but it would be interesting.

Hypothetically it would be an interesting move of Universal reverting back to a method like this. I would consider it to be potentially that it means Mummy is safe in a longer term but...

I wonder, with the advent of the "Utility Events Space" being done for the Hillside Project (which would be interesting to watch if that is finished by a time where it can be used for HHN this year, even with the delay it seemingly has had); that Universal may be trying to reduce the costs spent in renting out tents.

August 4, 2014 - Despite the summer season and the onrush of guests flooding the park in seemingly record droves, construction at Universal continues on with several major projects in the works throughout the property. Pulling out a photo from 2013 & 2014 via IU archives, but in the past they would've had the shade sail/canopies closer to the house than that of what it would be for a tent. If the shade sail/Canopy is back, it looks like it will probably be at a 30-35 degree angle to allow more verticality than before.

A win for allowing Mummy Venue to have some fun potential, but it would be a return to form none the less.

Main thought is if it's for the 20th Anniversary in 2026. Would make sense if Murdy and the Hollywood team may be taking into account of the importance of 20 years of event operation in comparison to that of a 10 year anniversary.

I really hope they make some acknowledgment of HHN’s 20th anniversary since coming back. That’s nothing to blow over.

Agreed, plus an anniversary year would give Universal an excuse to push all sorts of HHN Anniversary merch on both coasts, just switch out the numbers being celebrated..

If they're going in a way that is observant of it being a 20th Anniversary, I can see teases come at the end of this year's event.

Orlando did something similar to when they did Jack for the 25th Anniversary, with a USB drive and a lock of his hair I think. It'd make sense that they might do something similar with Harry.

I know the mods must be ripping their hair out of us speculating for next year when nothing has been announced yet, but having Hollywood Harry host an anniversary house would be fantastic. Better yet, bring back the Director!

I don't know if Murdy would have the desire to bring back an Orlando icon to the fold--but a Hollywood Harry + Director Terror Tram with a Harry house focusing on his past would be great.

The weird thing is that sounds nearly identical to how Knott's brought back Seymore for their 50th anniversary maze

I'd rather a new character that encapsulates HHN's past, present and future.

Honestly if they had balls to do it, I'd love if they went back to Asylum and did a "Warden" type character that oversaw inmates that could include Hollywood Harry and Larry Larva.

So even in spite of us not knowing what treatment's he is on for 2025, he gave more context for the mystery treatment for 2026.




From what it seems via Murdy, House Treatment 1 for 2026 is seemingly an original that had researched into elements of early synth based scores from films in the 1980s.
