Probably. But it’s not like they won’t know where the demo is taking place and they couldn’t, you know, plan around it.

Fans are too hung up about the HHN queues. The demo will take priority for the parks, because there is plenty of precedent for PARK additions to take priority over HHN.

Agreed, I'm not worried about the queues since this wouldn't be the first nor last time the event has had to work around something, even as recently as last year with the construction of Dreamworks land.

Not to mention that the demo of one ride in a main queue spot is less than what the event had to work around in 2012, which was a prime example of various new park additions taking priority over HHN, and that year also had some seriously last-minute changes on top of that!

Would they not just do a F&F coaster like USH is getting? Controlled spin cars and all.

Then they can finally close and redo the ride we do not speak of…

The available space isn't exactly the best for drifting motion. It's too narrow. This will be something else.

Besides, I think it's nice that USH is becoming a more unique park. Other than Nintendo their recent additions have been park exclusives.

A new F&F ride would set a precedent for Supercharged to eventually close, even if that dosen't happen in the immediate future.

Hypothetically, they could change the MDC car if they think the narrow 4 cars with 2 seats per row won't work.

Uncharted has 12 seats on a single car, and that seems to work out fine. Only real detractor from this is that this would make the replacement a "Net" neutral, assuming if the throughput is similar to Rockit, but it would allow them to have the controlled spinning from USH in place.

It's not really the capacity I'm referring to, it's the plot of land. This coaster will have to be an out and back layout and that's just not very interesting for drifting. It's not visually interesting either, you'll be staring at soundstage walls and backstage areas. It's the worst place in the park to put a coaster like that.

It'll be in Intamin vertical launch or a Mack Stryker, book it. The latter seems like about especially good fit.

I know the space isn’t exactly big, but if they really wanted to, they could make room for spinning/drifting cars. The thing about this placement is that the drifting is not necessary to squelch the noise unlike the USH location.

Also, since there is no hillside to work with, it’s going to have to be a completely different coaster. You can still have a unique coaster AMD have it be themed to F&F. I still think the drifting effect can be in play, but only for when the moments of the ride “need” it. In other words, it won’t be necessary to direct noise away, but to allow room for spinning.

since there is already a fast and furious ride, that it's themed to the garages. what would the queue theme be here?
Brazil? Europe? government building?

Supercharged will be around for a bit longer and F&F is one of several possible replacement IP.

I don’t think there’s any chance this isn’t Ghostbusters. The entrance going through the firehouse is very telling along with the recent use of the IP in the parade and nighttime show. The concept blends so well with the New York section of the park, while the “Florida Drift” ride would make more sense to keep in the music plaza area

This is where I'm leaning, too. Rudd has suggested a sequel to Frozen Empire is in the works, which would put it around a 2027 release if it films next year.
