Mega Movie Parade

I've heard rumblings of another IP potentially included in the parade lineup. Just a rumor at this point so it could be completely wrong. No clue on if it will be a full float or just a character.

The IP would be another 3rd Party/non-ComcastNBC, and not Sony again either. I personally think it'd be kinda funny if the character passed by Hollywood during the parade route. Definitely fits the retro vibe the parade seems to be taking on.

That was a total guess on my part, but it would make a bit of sense if they could work out the required licensing:

1. Fits the sort of "celebration of classic/retro blockbusters" that the parade may be going with in terms of theme.
2. It was the basis for a major attraction in the park.

It's possible Terminator happens seperately, but the rumored IP I've heard has not appeared in any Universal Park before to my knowledge. I think it does contrast the current Hollywood Theatre attraction pretty well.

Looking at this, and my dumb mind goes and wonders; especially due to the upcoming movie...could UDX of gotten the Oz rights for domestic use?

That'd be a massive pull to get; especially considering Wicked coming out in November this year. Plus--you don't get more "Classic WB" than that.
