Where are the skeletons? It is well established they are "part of it"
My group asked! "David S. Pumpkins is his own thing!"

It's been like 4 years of nothing but techno or dubstep type music.

If the past 4 years have been nothing but electronic music, I could see your point. But the matter of the fact is, that hasn't been the case for the past couple years.

While Vaporwave (Correction, Synthwave. Thanks, @GA-MBIT !) was the core of the park loops for 28 and 29, the core of 30's park loop was Industrial and Metal. And while there were some electronic touches here and there, they weren't the focus as the Metal and Industrial rang true. As for 31, the core of that loop was Rockabilly.

So two years straight of Vaporwave Synthwave, and then two years of Metal and Rockabilly. Feels pretty alright for the park loop to go the way it is this year.

28 and 29 were definitely synthwave, not Vaporwave. Though I would be interested to hear what a Vaporwave HHN mix would end up sounding like!

Besides that, you've got it totally correct. This year's music has a lot more dubstep, Tik Tok-type beats, and pure electronic music, which is a completely different vibe than any of the past 5 year's soundtracks. I'll admit though, while some tracks are fun, I'm not a huge fan of hard dubstep at 1:41 AM when my feet are about to give out from exhaustion haha! This year is a lot of give and take.

Thanks for the correction, got the aesthetic mixed with the music.

I think you’re confusing this with the HHN Hollywood thread…

28-29: Synth
30: Metal Stock Music
31: Psychobilly
32: Trap/Dubstep

This year could have used creepy carnival music and Oddfellow could have used this song for example. I think it was a missed opportunity to not use more creepy circus organ music.

That is not creepy carnival music...

And I think we've reached the point of exhausting the topic. We get it. You don't like it. Let's move along now.

So last year I would arrive at midnight for the free parking and there would be like 10 people going in with me maybe. I never had to make a line for parking. Very light crowd going in for most of the event at 12.
Today, there's like 70 cars going in. There's a line for metal detectors. Just a little change I noticed. Crowded entrance

Did they like triple the amount of RIP tours this year? I swear they’re popping into the houses every 2-3 minutes, sometimes with multiple groups.

Also just a few notes from tonight
- Express was a lot better except for Monsters and Chucky, Monsters seemed to be a bigger problem than opening night for me so not sure what was up there.
- Something needs to be done about the tent house exits, both were backed up INTO the houses and were at standstills when I went into each tent house at different points of the night. After a while a TM came and was literally merging the exits because people were still for 3+ minutes.

I haven’t been to the event yet this year, so I am curious what changed from last year to this year? Wasn’t there a merge point last year too but it never backed up as bad as the way I’m hearing from everyone? What’s different?

Anyone have a video or article with JUST food reviews? I'll be there next week and I'm excited but don't want spoilers!

Orlando International Airport is getting into the HHN spirit as they have opened the first-ever Halloween Horror Nights store inside the airport.
