WDW Closing Child Activity Centers July 31st

The three Child Activity Centers at WDW will be closing July 31st. The three are located at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Beach Club Resort.

The service was essentially a babysitting business while parents went out for the night. Disney has cited a decline in business as the reason for the closure. Independent childcare provider Kid's Nite Out will continue to offer babysitting services at Walt Disney World Resorts.

Yeah. My sister wanted to check out one of the places years back when we were staying at the Poly. There was pretty much nobody in there. It's a wonder they've kept them open this long.

I bet more parents think they can take their kids to a nice restaurant and throw a phone playing youtube in their face than spend money on this service.
