Toverland has it's Horror Nights, an event that is aimed to 12 years and older.
You have to pay for each house but the scare zones are free. Children can buy a magic wand, for a bit more than 5 euro, to scare the scary stuff away. I think that is a very smart solution for kinds who want scary stuff but need to be in control (maybe it would also help some adults).
