Also the 5th anniversary, I’m expecting a collab with Halloween Horror Nights for a house.

American Horror Story Season 13 is confirmed for next year too. It’ll be a continuation of the Coven, Apocalypse story thread with a lot of original cast returning. It’s possible that could be in the cards

Pleasure to be back doing this with you all again.

I think the most obvious way for this to start off is the Oddfellow logo appearing in El Artista on the last night. This leads me to believe that we may see the Oddfellow VS Jack rumor that we saw early this year.

Things I think we could potentially/realistically see for HHN35:

Stranger Things 5 - with the show closing out this year, it would make a ton of sense for it to come.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 - it's coming very soon, and there was literally an ad for it at the exit of the house this year. Feels like a no brainer!

Fallout Season 2 - this is a big maybe, but with the house getting better reviews toward the end of the year, I could see them giving this another shot. This season will feature a lot more large setpieces/locations that could fit a house.

Oddfellow vs Jack - see above (this could function as the "icon" house I assume)

Cat Lady of Crooked Lane - with the popularity of this zone, I can absolutely see this getting the "zone to house" treatment. This feels tailor-made for a tent IMO.

Another Slaughter Sinema 2 property - Mardi Gras Murders, Zyborgs, etc.

- Mel's Die In street experience absolutely needs to return.
- Lagoon show also needs to return - it really felt like it made a difference this year.

I know they don’t typically have anniversaries for franchises in mind… but Scream and Resident Evil turn 30 next year and are my personal white whale IPs(specifically the first Scream movie and first Resident Evil game).

I’d love to see them do a SCarey Ohio scarezone as I loved the Welcome to SCarey house from 30, and bonus points if they have several Slaughter Sinema characters like Gourdy and Devil Dogs in there

As much as I'd love to see AHS get the house treatment, Fox is owned by The Mouse now so that probably rules it out...

Would like to hope that HBO having It: Welcome To Derry means they might be able to bypass whatever the situation is on that franchise.

Also – Hellraiser is coming back as a big computer game next year. Could that be the way in for it to be a house? (Similarly the OG Halloween)

My early speculation is

Icon Oddfellow and Jack- I feel it won’t be just Oddfellow and be more. Even tho it was only his symbol in the house.

I'm not suspecting heavy repeat IPs from this past year. FNAF 3 isn't coming out next year (plus I'm sure Scott Cawthon has heavy creative demands for a FNAF 2 house), and they probably want to wait a year to do Terrifier 4 given the film comes out the final weekend of the 2026 event. I maybe see Fallout being the likeliest to return despite a more muted reception in Orlando becuase Hollywood was much better received and I'm sure Universal wants to continue their partnership with Amazon for years to come, but The Last of Us hasn't even returned yet.

That being said, some early guesses....

IPs

Stranger Things 5: This almost feels like a given. It's probably the very last time we'll see the series at the event, so I'm sure they'll go all out with a megahouse in SS25.

The Black Phone: Given the sequel's success and The Grabber's continuing endurance at the event, it probably makes sense to give the films a standalone house for once.

Sinners: I can't imagine the creative team isn't trying to chase the largest horror film in almost a decade. This could be The Darkest Deal with vampires and large setpieces. The Hoodoo elements within the story may have to be toned down though if it were to come.

Hellraiser - It's of those IPs that I'll believe when I see like Conjuring/Scream/Silence of the Lambs, but there seems to be early smoke to this rumor.

Oz Perkins Anthology - An A24 mashup house continues to be an idea fans have wanted for years, but I wouldn't be surprised if Neon beat them to the punch. Oz Perkins is going to have his fourth Neon horror film release next year, and given his father's legacy to the Universal brand, it would fit right into the event.

Anniversary House: Like Stranger Things, this is another practical guarantee. I'm sure we'll see Scarecrow, Wicked Growth, a Slaughter Sinema concept or two, and some older concepts from the 00s.

Oddfellow vs. Jack: If the hints for this don't tie into the anniversary house, a standalone house makes sense.

Standalone Sequel House: If Scarecrow isn't in the anniversary house, it makes the most sense for a standalone sequel.

Hellraiser: most Requested IP to come, and New game coming.

Smile: 5th anniversary next year, including a lot of collabs. Also The 3rd movie is about to film. Giving The Smile Franchise, a spot for the 3rd one in the fall of 2026. Also promotion for the new movie

Resident Evil: Anniversary and new film including Game sequel to requiem.

Ozzy Osborne Aboard the Crazy Train: One that Legacy hinted, A inspirational musician. Who’s been Popular with Music and every Generation.

5th IP: Spyglass scream or Something Else entirely like ST 5.

Blumhouse, Black Phone 2 + Other Mommy. Other Mommy is based on a book called Incidents Around the House that's pretty HHN friendly. That could combine with Black Phone 2 for a strong maze.

 Weapons was a standout horror this year and Aunt Gladys was huge this Halloween. Would be a big get for next year.

 Sinners, as mentioned. Extra factor with this one is I feel like Murdy would go extra hard for it. He'd probably salivate for a chance to do that Irish dancing scene.

Evil Dead Burn comes out next year.

 Ozzy would of course be wonderful.

So what was this thing about Oddefellow in El Artista last night?

A piece of fabric with his symbol appeared on Sergio's woodworking bench.

A couple of people have said Jack's wooden totem was there, but the photo circulating doesn't show it. I think people saw a shard and just assumed it was Jack's pointy hair.

Any idea what a potential theme/aesthetic would be for next year?

Could we see the HHN 25 theme, but with an Oddfellow twist? Would love to see the park "split in half" (two zones each, etc.) between Jack and Oddfellow... with an 11th house added as the "battleground" between the two.

Already mentally preparing for a year with Stranger Things, Ozzy*, and who knows what other IP they are considering.

Random Observations and Questions
Based on this year's crowd, are we at the tipping point for an 11th house? In previous years I was against this as the event suffered with staffing... but to their credit this year (outside Grave of Flesh) had no issues that I'm aware of. Only thing holding them back is possibly another soundstage house due to construction. Maybe another tent?

Also, The Shining reference in the Tribute Store... is that something to keep an eye on? Or was that just a creative easter egg?

The theme I thinking for next year, they will go big budget and decorate the arch with all the icons on it.

Meaning the Year will just be based on the icons and the Anniversary. But based on pure speculation, we have no clue what the theme is.

Also I think the Shinning thing was a creative decision. Stephen king really hates, his properties going to Haunt events.
