Gob smacked they estimate is post-HHN that seems insane to me, maybe they could have a temp bar or just the bar section open for HHN? I could get the rest of the restaurant being closed for HHN but the bar? Seems like way to much money lost to me, and also I am praying for a solution 'cause HHN and Finns are just such tradition. Also any news on the bartenders and staff, I can only imagine the stress they are feeling and potential loss of tips as I know they must make bank

The building is 30+ years old-- it most likely needs a lot of TLC and upgrading. It would also benefit from a change in layout for better flow and control.

They’ll probably add a pop-up bar or two for HHN to offset but yeah a full restaurant refurbishment can take quite awhile. Things like fixing plumbing or adding a fire suppression system or tearing up then re-laying all of that tile are time consuming. Better to take the time to do it right once than have to go back and fix things.
