So FJ was painted not changed, the lockers are a mess, the dementors are in your face without hands and the dragon is fixed. Love the ride but can we please have the LOCKERS MOVED???

1) I still always see bird poop on the rocks

2) What ruins your experience of walking into Hogwarts is that one person in charge of telling people to please move out of the way, or to only let one person into the lockers instead of their whole party. By 10 am, whoever has that position is red and is screaming at everyone. I laugh overtime I see it, because no one ever listens.

3) The Dementors need to get replaced. Not just hands, but totally replaced.

I'm going to display more maturity than our President-Elect and move on from this rediculous online argument.

I personally don't mind the bird poop as long as it doesn't get out of hand. I mean what are they supposed to do, have someone scale the rocks every hour to clean and repaint?

Also, I'm excited to see the updates no matter how small because after riding the USH version a few months ago, I realized how quickly the UOR ride has dated itself.

I propose that Universal do what Disney has been doing for a while, and have people at night that spruce up EVERYTHING while the park is empty. My cousin, who works at Epcot tells me that people always come in at night while she's leaving, and they clean up everything on property. The floors, shops, restaurants, cars, and rides. I always see space mountain as white as it was the day it opened. I think Universal should do this.

As someone who has been going to WDW for 45+ years I can say that the overnight maintenance is nothing like it used to be. The last ten years have been a decreasing level to a point the same trash is there at rope drop as was at last kiss to be cleaned up by the day shift.

I spent every morning in the MK from 2011 - 2013 seeing the park operation. It is not cleaned every night. They try but the staffing has been cut to the bone. Old standards are not upheld in the name of profits so the new guests have no idea of what the parks looked like when they opened. This is a myth that should die, it happened in the past but is not happening now.

Before this weekend I hadn't gone to disney in 6 years, so maybe that's why.

Both Disney and Universal pressure wash walkways and every once in a while there buildings. Problem with potter is that the poop is on the rockwork. Pressure washing could chip away rockwork or remove the paint. It has to be done very carefully.

It helps that they recently put some new paint on Space Mountain. I've been going the last few years and while still white there was a noticeable build up of dirt. Also, the boats in the Frozen ride are in the same worn condition from when Maelstrom closed. One would think they would've been given a fresh paint job during the downtime but nope.

has anyone noticed the differences btw USO and USH Hogwarts castles? I feel like our castle has more earthy colors such as brown and a rust color (I know it sounds weird but our rock work has those colors) but hollywoods castle has darker colors that almost look gray on the rock work and in general looks more dramatic. I also heard that the bricks on the castle are different (colors and polish) and that their castle is moved elevated. Can someone do a side by side view.
