Well, just like an approaching shark, things are gonna' get unhinged. Granted, I've seen some vids here and there that TM's are plenty ready for its closing, but Passholders Nights and the last day could be something else!

Remains hilarious to me that this ride is so unlikeable that pretty much no one cares that the last day details are this sloppy.

The TMs there will almost certainly be roasting the hell out of the ride one last time.

It’s nice they did “something” for this failed attraction. Moving on to brighter days.

I'm here for the last few hours. Was hoping to make a full day out of the closure, but they bumped it up on the schedule and I work haha.

It's kinda weird to actually be in line for this ride, because I'm realizing that the majority of my time spent with this attraction has not been spent with F&F, but within HHN queues. Say what you will about the attraction, (and there is a lot to say haha), but this queue line - an indoor dingy, industrial warehouse covered in rust and oil and machinery everywhere - was not only one of the most comfortable house queues to wait through, but also perfectly set the vibes up for the haunt ahead of you.

This garage already feels like it could be the setting for a slasher sequence. And when the 2014 club music isn't playing, the whole space is relatively quiet outside of the whirring industrial fans and crowd noise. Which makes it feel far more vibe-y than the soundstages and parking lot queues with their ads and complete lack of theming. I've always noticed that about the space, and I appreciate it.

Luckily it seems like we'll get at least one more HHN with this grimy and atmospheric queue space. We'll see how fast (and/or furious) they vacate the place or work on a replacement. I kinda wonder if I'll be in this same building in September 2027, still looking at the same F&F signage and tire props that I'm looking at right now.

Took my last ride on this the other day. Can't say I'll miss this ride at all :lmao: The queue on the other hand though... at least we have the HHN house to queue there for (No F&F music though). RIP family.

I'll give my postmortem thoughts on this ride soon. I was able to ride one of the final non-event party buses, and while getting that final experience is appreciated, I can't lie and say it hadn't remained as obnoxious, abrasive, and unsurprisngly unenjoyable as ever.

Right now, I mostly care to chronicle a small closing detail that very possibly would've gone unnoticed or lost otherwise - the first car on the right side of the Alley show scene had a thin layer of "nitrous" (fog solution) coating its' windshield today, with the words "Family Forever" written with someone's finger through it. It was honestly not crazy obvious. I only noticed on my final ride-thru.

No matter how ill-concieved or poorly executed, any attraction at this scale has an army of creatives and operations crew behind it that, on some level, care about this thing and have spent a significant chunk of their lives bringing it to life. I will not mourn Supercharged, but I will acknowledge the unavoidable care and effort that went into it, despite everything.

Of all my qualms with UDX, I appreciate that they have made recent efforts to make these closure dates essentially 'celebrations of life'. It's not necessary, as Disney shows with some of its' own recent and incredibly notable and historic closures, but it's a very kind gesture that nods at a growing history and legacy lineup for the resort.

Had the chance to be on the final "public" ride prior to the start of the AP party. Spirits were high and everyone was shouting and quoting the ride.

Supercharged will not be remembered as a good ride, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have fond memories going on it, even if it was only a result of how laughable it was.
