There shouldn't be a drop dead date given the history of most theme park openings, but I suppose it is what it is. Judging by construction, it will be more ready than a lot of other Universal openings.

A month wide window seems pretty reasonable 16 months out. They should be able to dial that in tighter as we get closer to the date. Let's just hope no one touches wet paint on opening day.

As you know, I have been pretty vocal about this date for a few years now. I would put money on a "1 year to go" happening when something opens this year. We 70 weeks away from this date, and stuff has begun cycling already, is anyone really worried that this park wont be 95% ready by this time next year?

Unless we're still technically doing speculation for opening additions, I think it might be good to transition to a new thread, ala the multiple threads for Diagon Alley. For example, this thread could be the archival Epic Universe park speculation thread, and the next thread could be the Epic Universe expansion speculation thread.

Just a personal preference though as someone who likes to categorize and finds those divisions helpful for spelunking through old megathreads, I imagine most people only read the most recent posts.
