I think they were sent to live with a nice farm family. Literally… not figuratively.

Bet there's more cuts in the near future.....Execs probably trying to save their jobs. Bad quarterly results don't look good when you're spinning off the segment within the next year. Really bad timing if that's the case.

It surely is expensive to maintain and I've never seen a packed house.

But... it is awesome (if not corny). I've cried a couple of times during it.. one time the Beethoven dog took a few takes to do a thing, but my favorite was, in those beginning videos where the trainers introduce themselves - one said they went into that line of work because of seeing this show itself! And now they were in it!

This sucks.

The rumors for Pokemon when it was slated for USF had it taking over Simpsons but seemingly not encroaching into AA. Perhaps this is why: they were or are keeping their options open for Shrek if 5 successfully revives the franchise. The Ogre deserves more than just a play set.

Can't underestimate how low visitation is post-HHN. It was low enough to justify closing Supercharged 9 months early

I wonder if that's why OI has more meetups offered this year in the winter months - guaranteed revenue?

Still surprised two weekends (including epic) aren't sold out, given the clamoring for more epic dates in that group.

Considering how Alicia did a wink and nod emoji, something tells me it's more than just letting AA sit vacant. I think DreamWorks phase 2 seems the most likely as if this was in anyways tied to a Simpsons replacement, the rumor mill would have already been spinning.

But if this is what I and many others are hoping this is (DreamWorks phase 2) it shows that Universal is listening to feedback from That USF simply needs more in the interim then just Hollywood Drift and a reskinned Supercharged if the Simpsons replacement is still a ways off.

tbf you can only buy EU as a $600+ 3-day ticket and it's on a weeknight. I think you're really limited by the price of the ticket to an extent.

Usually, the animals typically go to animal sanctuaries, zoos, or even adoption. If it is a fully trained animal, I would guess that a company that provides animals for movies or shows might purchase them.

If I was to be my most speculative, I'd say it sits SBNO until the very end of August next year and becomes the new home for the HHN show.

There's one IP which can expand they can always find the money for that gets them the biggest bang for their buck

via Simantic8 on Theme Park Stop: Universal Animal Actors is to be leaving Universal Studios Florida on November 2nd.

Maybe the “Lab used for Marley in Me” finally died at the ripe age of 22 so they can’t do that bit anymore.

You’d think all those “$2 million dollar” contracts those animals kept getting would have kept this open indefinitely.

Performing animals is a dated look. I think most regular visitors won’t miss this at all, and a number would probably be glad to see it gone.

I'd argue some families with small kids will likely miss it (perhaps mostly passholders, I feel like a lot of tourists didn't even know it was an option, but my friends with young toddler-aged kids considered it a must.) I also am sad to see so many shows just disappear in general. I know rides are generally more preferred than shows but there's something relaxing about being able to take a break from the rides and watch a show.
