I don’t know. Their merch is on average much better than Disney’s, which has been Walmart slop for like a decade at this point, but it’s still kind of hit or miss.
The issue is that they REALLY like talking a good design and then adding extra patterns or colors or “features” that aren’t needed. Like the long sleeve in this picture: why does half of it need to be a checkerboard, and why does the logo need to be raised and neon?
Their strongest areas are mugs and “in-universe” merchandise. They knocked it out of the park for HHN this year, I will say. The only item that I had the classic “ooh, this is cool *flips it over* oh nevermind there’s a huge ugly picture on the back” experience with was the Crowz jacket.
One of the worst offenders in memory was the BTTF 40 FFN merch. Every single item had the amazing 40th logo, and then this absolutely gigantic faux-arcade style picture on the back. BTTF has nothing to do with video games, and while the art is cool for maybe a sticker it should’ve been put on items separate from the main line of 40th merch.
