It seemed like this deserved it's own thread rather than take over the Miss Adventure Falls conversation.

Disney is doing a 10 day Water Park Virtual Queue test. For the test, Disney is not incorporating MagicBands. The attractions using the Virtual Queue test are Downhill Double Dipper, Slush Gusher and Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach and Miss Adventure Falls at Typhoon Lagoon.

Here's a few pics from Blog Mickey from the first day of testing today:

Didn't Universal trademark Virtual Queue?

It's obvious they're trying to upgrade their own parks to compete with VB. I wonder if the new ride was built with this in mind.

I had actually pondered this during the construction of the ride. The queue for Miss Adventure is not long at all.

Universal can't trade mark the concept of a Virtual Queue. Do you mean the name itself?

A 15-minute window seems so short. And how are you supposed to know the time when splashing around if you're not wearing something with a digital watch like TapuTapu and other virtual queue systems I've done provide?
