The branding doesn’t matter at all outside of these boards. The GP doesn’t care one iota nor notice.
If it was rebranded as “Jurassic world”, they’d still sell the Jurassic park classic t-shirts and gear everywhere. And vice versa w/ Jurassic world gear and staying J.P.
Rebranding is entirely...
What’s really crazy is the fact they didn’t just keep it shuttered in January.
Just leave it shuttered if it’s going to be in a dilapidated state until it gets the work it needs.
My wife has seen it 3 times now. The last two times with groups of other moms all going and dressed in pink and heels, etc.
It’s like Gentleminions. But instead of obnoxious teen boys it’s suburban moms. :lmao:
Small correction: They can still be promoted, they just aren't going to be on late night shows or from the actors doing the rounds. But all the backend marketing that does promotion is unaffected by the strike. They're still creating trailers and advertisements like usual.
So it's promoted...
Sounds like you were the target audience. When a movie is simply good and/or fun (this is both), the target audience is pretty broad.
I would think 15-50 year old women and 22-45 year old men, if I had to pin it down? The "ideal" demo everyone wants.
And 4-8 year olds just for Barbie.
I’ve had my kids going to universal multiple times a year since my youngest was 1.
I’ve been well aware of the lack of stuff for children. And have even recommended (to the normies) that no one bring their kids until they are 42” and to stick to the mouse until then. I specifically remember...
As fun as your hypothetical sounds, there would be a near zero percent chance that universal would ever open up just a flat ride on its own without doing a “mini land” retail/food addition alongside.
If anything happens, it will be all at once. Not in 3 steps.
And that’s a giant if.
Let’s be...
I have a great ride concept for bond.
You board a classy party bus.
You go to a classy party where it’s suit and tie and everyone is drinking martinis while Daniel Craig is enjoying his vesper martini.
Bond gives chase to a runaway vehicle trying to kill him along with helicopter drones he...
This legit blows my mind.
How are they not making $13/hr? I have to assume they are educated and have skills beyond writing. It’s definitely “for the love of the game” if they’ll tolerate that lack of pay when they could obviously make more elsewhere.
I guess I’m just bewildered they’d even do...
Transformers? Get outta here.
The ride system would have been just fine as an "anyone can ride" night bus attraction. That plus and expanded London w/ a fish and chips QS taking over Fear Factor would have been quite the fit.
And they'd still have the large Earthquake/Beetlejuice plot to build...
Im so hyped for Napoleon. Anything with Joaquin Phoenix you know he's going to be all in on- but that trailer is something else. Can't wait.
Now you have my curiosity.
Seeing as your kid(s?) are now coming into that "more aware" stage- if no one has pointed you in the direction of Common Sense...
Great conversations in this thread.
I'd like to point out that it's also well beyond the writers and actors as casualties of the strike.
The "non-working" actors still have their side jobs.
The writers can't create with group writing but can still create individually at home.
For me, It's the...
Thank you for cutting it off at the pass beforehand. Should just stick to box office numbers on that one.
Me? I just want to see Cillian Murphy get some scientists to make a world changing bomb.
I appreciate the dialog on this.
Obviously I don’t know all the ins and outs of the tech which is way above my pay grade. But I’m sure finding proper case law from a set number of confirmed websites can be learned.
And from what I’ve read it more about the layman needing an attorney than an...
Late to this, but it’s not like we’re all up in arms that our cars are built by robots instead of people turning wrenches.
Technological revolutions happen all the time. Some with great results and some with bitter sweet ones.
The cotton gin extending slavery in the south, for example, as...
That’s a bit bold but I can see it if all you care about is thrilling rides.
If you enjoy theme, service, dining and shows cumulatively more than just rides, then TDS is going to blow IOA away.
I won’t argue it re: the rides though. Velocicoaster is insane. Hagrids is arguably the best coaster...
*Arguably.
DisneySea certainly is in that conversation. If someone picks DL over DS, I get it. If someone picks DS, I also get it. Any other park doesn't compare.
And thats before the new expansion at DisneySea.
