USHForums.com is an online community dedicated to Universal Studios Hollywood. In an effort to spur discussion and to maintain a civil community, we’ve implemented the following rules below. Please read them. Forum organization: Univesal is organized under the umbrella Upper and Lower lot designations. As a result, USHForums is divided under three main categories - attractions, generalities and shops/restaurants Members who wish to discuss other topics are welcome to do so in the appropriate forum While we are not dogmatic about keeping everything limited to a single discussion thread, we do encourage members to seek out existing threads that may be suitable for your topic Our moderating staff will move threads and posts as they see fit

  1. Usually, a month and a half is a good sign that your application was not accepted. Beyond that, it's essentially a wait-and-see game. Some employers don't send a rejection letter until several months after all the positions have been filled, so I wouldn't count on receiving one. My suggestion? Keep applying, and make sure your resume is tailored to each position if possible. They may hire in waves, so just give it some time if you can.
  2. They do - it's Eric Kopelow. I like his output, but the park's control quality really varies. I agree, I'm not sure I'd want Universal to have a food festival given their track record. Harry Potter has been fairly consistent, but everything else deteriorates over time.
  3. As a reminder to team members or anyone connected with the company: to reiterate the forum rules once again: Upon registration, it is up to you to ensure that your information is suitable for public consumption. Use discretion before you post, and be advised that it is not the job of the moderating staff to retract your statements once they're made. Not only does this disrupt discussion threads, it also calls upon our staff to harness that responsibility that you ultimately possess to ensure that your content is suitable for public eyes. Our staff will not retract any further statements made in haste, so exercise your best judgement for future posts.
  4. Everything will be transferred, and your profiles should remain intact.
  5. No decision has been reached about the show, but we plan to maintain the integrity of both. Both forums will merge under the Inside Universal name. We'll be using their software since it's cleaner and lighter.
  6. If anyone has any questions, I can answer them here.
  7. I have a special note about the future of USHForums.com: http://insideuniversal.net/2017/02/a-note-from-the-editor/
  8. That discount is only available based on your geographical data. It doesn't show up for all users.
  9. As long as people keep paying, it doesn't really matter how we complain or how vocal we are about doing it. You signify your stance by taking your money elsewhere if you disagree with the price or what they're doing. Simple.
  10. ^ I believe you should be fine. I suggest calling 1-800-UNIVERSAL directly to see if they can make an exception for you to postpone your first visit date, but these dates usually signify the earliest you can come based on the experience of some members on this forum.
  11. The cabinets were painted brown while the grille was factory-default black. It's good to see them blend in with the trees.
