Supposedly a boutique Marriott Hotel is planned on the site of the Swan & Dolphin tennis courts. It is being said that the hotel may be one of the Kessler Collection Hotels, which is run by Marriott and owned by Kessler. The Castle Hotel on I-Drive for instance is a Kessler Collection Hotel. Room rates begin at $146/night, however these hotels aim for a higher end clientele.

$146 on I Drive would probably translate to $300 to $500 a night next to Epcot/DHS.

Yeah some Kessler properties at 5 stars. Nice to see something akin to Four Seasons within closer proximity of the Disney theme parks. Will make for some spectacular firework viewing if they position it right (which I'm sure they will). With all this new construction, are we seeing the beginning of a WDW construction renaissance much like we saw with Universal for the past 8 years? Very exciting times to be in Orlando!

You do know there's a Four Seasons over at Golden Oak, right?

^Yes? But can you walk to Epcot or Hollywood Studios from it? The Kessler hotel will be much more in the mix of things, vs Four Seasons which is tucked away behind Fort Wilderness. That's the point.

That would be logical with Marriott expanding right now and the idea of another Bohemian Hotel (joining the one at Celebration and the one downtown by Dr. Phillips Center) seems like something they would do. Marriott finally got their way onto Disney property and they are taking full advantage!

Has anyone stayed at the Castle Hotel? Is it worth checking out?

Overlayed onto google maps. The Pavilion that overlooks Fantasia minigolf will be demolished for parking.

Glad to see they're putting in a traffic light there. Dangerous spot to cross the road with that double curve, especially considering most guest will want to visit boardwalk staying here.
