In my opinion one of the most elaborately designed themes in any park. I am always impressed by the initial walk though of Hogsmeade. It's an immersive  and spectacular set of facades and scenery. You can walk through 100 times and still find something new.

This building holds many fond memories, as it's the old home to Nickelodeon Studios

The old Nickelodeon Studios consisted of two sound stages and a central building that was used for production purposes as well as the stusdio tour.

Nice photos!

I'm still always dumbfounded that Islands of Adventure was created by the same company that's behind Universal Studios...in 1999 no less! It's almost like stepping in a completely different world.

Either way, I'm guessing that was their point. It's a very thoughtfully done park, and I can't wait to see them expand it.

With the exception of potter much of most of IOA has been completely untouched since 99, universal on the other hand is nearly unrecognizable from its early 90's counterpart

Great pics.  I sure hope they relocate the Hogwarts Express Engine to Hollywood.  No need to keep it in Orlando anymore.  It would make a great photo op in Hollywood while the land is being built.

From what I've heard that area where the train is will open up and become a new path to the station so I would imagine universal will reuse the mock train for Hollywood.

I like the saturation on the Adventures of Spiderman entrance.  Great pic!
